Help Us Foster Community Driven Conservation Initiatives

Isiolo County Conservancies Association is composed of passionate and dedicated groups of conservationists and community leaders committed to preserving the rich biodiversity and natural beauty of our county, Members hailing from 12 recognized community conservancies in Isiolo County, this include Biliqo-Bulesa, Cherab, Garba Tulla, Kinna, Leparua, Naapu, Nasuulu, Nakuprat-Gotu, Nanapisho, Narupa, Nannapa, and Sericho spread across Eight Wards in Isiolo County.

OUR MISSION

Biodiversity Restoration

To protect and restore Isiolo County’s wildlife and natural resources by fostering community-driven conservation initiatives, ensuring a sustainable future for both nature and people.

Our partners and collaborators

NRT Kenya

NRT was established as a shared resource to help build and develop community conservancies, which are best positioned to enhance people’s lives, build peace and conserve the natural environment. 

Isiolo County Govt.

Isiolo County Government partners with many local community organizations in different capacities through its departments i.e. Tourism and Wildlife, and multiple community programmes.

MIDP-Kenya

MID-P is a  local partner that facilitates and co-ordinates sustainable community development initiatives and promotes good governance with various community projects in Isiolo County.

Save Northern Wild Dogs is the result of a shared passion for wildlife conservation and a deep concern for the declining population of wild dogs in Isiolo County.
